Nice “Bunny” Meet You: Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival at D&J Fashion
Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally a time for reunion, sharing and appreciation. This year, D&J Fashion brought those traditions into the workplace with an afternoon celebration for our team on September 22.
Under the theme “Nice ‘Bunny’ Meet You,” inspired by the Jade Rabbit of Chinese folklore, the event brought together mooncakes, games, DIY activities, food and prizes — all with a festive Mid-Autumn touch.
It was a simple way to celebrate the occasion together and share a little more than our usual day-to-day work.
A Mid-Autumn Celebration With a Little Competition
The afternoon began with mooncakes before everyone moved on to a series of games set up around the venue.
There were ring toss challenges, coordination games and team activities that quickly brought out some friendly competition. Some took skill, some took luck, and a few were much harder than they looked.
More importantly, everyone joined in.
That sense of participation is something we value at D&J Fashion. Our daily work brings together people from design, merchandising, sourcing, sampling, production and quality control, so collaboration is already part of how we operate.
The games were just for fun, but seeing colleagues work together outside their usual roles made the afternoon even more enjoyable.
Making Something by Hand
The DIY area was another popular part of the celebration.
Colleagues made snow-skin mooncakes and small Mid-Autumn-themed crafts, turning traditional festival elements into something they could make and take home themselves.
For a women’s fashion manufacturer, there is something familiar about the pleasure of making things by hand.
Fashion development also starts with details. Fabric, fit, trims, construction and finishing all need to come together before a design becomes a product that can be produced consistently.
Whether we are supporting an OEM project or developing an ODM collection, that process relies on close cooperation between design, merchandising, sourcing and production.
Celebrating the People Behind the Work
Throughout the afternoon, colleagues collected rewards by taking part in different activities, followed by a lucky draw at the end. Mid-Autumn gifts had also been prepared for the team in advance.
For us, these moments are part of building a workplace where people feel connected to the company and to one another.
That matters in fashion manufacturing.
A reliable global supply chain depends on systems, experience and technical capability, but it also depends on people who communicate clearly and work well together.

Those are qualities that are harder to show on a specification sheet, but they matter greatly in real-world cooperation.
Our Mid-Autumn Festival celebration was first and foremost exactly that — a celebration of the festival.
At the same time, it offered a small glimpse of the people and culture behind D&J Fashion.
And ultimately, those same people are the ones behind every design, every order and every partnership we build.
